Alliance & Leicester Loan ppi

Would I be entitled to claim back mis-sold ppi on an A&L loan which was taken out around 1998/1999 and which I settled early around Aug 2001? I don't have the loan account number but I do still have an A&L loan which has now transferred to Santander and if I supplied this account no do you think they could trace it back?

It's just that all A&L loans which I have had have been processed via telephone and with all of them I was advised that the loan would only be granted if i took the ppi. I only remembered this one the other day and because it didn't fall between the dates didn't think about it.

I have also been paid out on 2 loans when A&L wrote to me in 2009 regarding the possiblity that I had been mis-sold PPI on an existing and previous loan which I had taken out during Jan 2005 and Dec 2009 via telephone and within 2 weeks had refunded me the ppi and interest. I didn't

Can u let me know if you think this is a possibility or is it too late. Also, would I go through Santander or Alliance & Leicester for this one.

Hi Jools id go through A&L seen it was with them, I reclaimed PPI taken out in 2004, Theres an email address LetsWorkItOut@alliance-leicester.co.uk send them an email tell them you feel you were mis sold. You can also request a copy of your credit agreement, give them as much info, how much loan was for, payment per month, name, address.
