Halifax Share dealing account

I have not used my account for a while and it has changed some what but I have now credited my account from a halifax reward account but has informed me the funds will take a day to transfer.Does that mean I have to wait for funds to clear before I can purchase any shares or can i purchase shares and fund later.Tried ringing halifax theres a 20 min wait so sod that. any one advise me please

How did you credit your dealing account? I think the best [fastest] way is by debit card.
Your dealing page should show cash available for dealing.".....where it is corrupt, purge it....."0 -
It shows £156 available but I have transfered £2000 from a halifax reward account which i was told will take 1 working day to be credited,seems silly as both accounts are the same bank ,so god knows why the transfer is not instant, looks like i will have to just wait till the money has been credited to the share account0

It's instant if they have your debit card details. But if they have your sort code/account number it takes a day or two.0
