I found this on the 'Great own brands' thread:

"Apparently Bourjois make up is made by Chanel (and is a lot cheaper) and I have been reliably informed that Clinique used to supply the skin care range for M&S - don't know whether they still do."

Perhaps it's all just great PR by M&S!

If you have any queries about M&S products why not just ask one of the managers, they may not be able to tell you exactly who makes their products but they will certainly go out of their way to help you.

I was in M&S last night looking for some of their Breakthrough Breast Cancer lines and had a long chat with two managers while they phoned through to different departments to find the products I was looking for and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Its a lot easier to find out who makes some of the food products but trying to find out about the make up is proving to be impossible.

I asked my managers at M&S about the make up and they said they didn't know.

I heard years ago that it was Clinique that supplied the skincare but this is probably just an urban myth or might have been true then but not now.
