Business Credit Card

Options
Capital One recently sent my partner a business credit card application with 0% on purchases on balance transfers. It seems like a good option for keeping business purchases separate.

We've looked through the terms and can't see an annual fee nor a fee for balance transfers which was surprising - especially for a business card.

There was however the following:

Total Charge For Credit: At the time the agreement is made, is £116.17 comprising interest in the sum of £116.17

I've never seen anything like this in terms and conditions - anyone know what it means?

Does the above sound like a good deal for a business card or are there better options?

Also I've just noticed that the application date has just passed. Anyone know how strictly these are applied or are they likely to still accept it?

I would phone and ask them what it means and whether you can still apply.
Our charity has business credit cards through the Coop, initially because we banked with them and now because we bank with Unity Trust (who don't AFAIK do 'normal' business accounts). £2 per month service charge (although having said that, they don't seem to charge it every month!)

Alternatively, get another 'personal' credit card if you can and use that for business spending. You have to be disciplined and always use the right card, but we find it works for DH and his work expenses.

Normally this is a statutory requirement for all credit cards (personal or business) to display as a set worked example and applies for when the introductory offers are over (same as APRs have a set method of calculation and isnt simply the interest) - if you want to double check you can always phone them.
