advice please on reclaiming address needed

Hi folks,
I am about to begin the process of claiming PPI back on two of my husbands loans. One was from 2002 and is paid back, and the other started in 2003 and only has one payment left.
They were both with Black Horse Ltd and I wondered if anyone had the correct address to send the letter too please?

Also, the agreement numbers printed at the top of each agreement, which I am assuming are the account numbers (?) each have to extra digits written in pen in the middle of the number, should I include those?

Thanks for any help.

(P.S I am actually ScattyStudent on here also, but cannot for the life of me get signed in with that account!)

    Hi and welcome.

There are 3 addresses of these on the address thread, hopefully someone will confirm which one (who have dealt with them).
The last one rings the bell, but best to make sure first.

    Black Horse
    St William House
    Tresillian Terrace
    Cardiff
    CCF10 SBH

    Blackhorse
    Holbrook house
    116 Cockfosters Road
    Barnet
    Hertfordshire
    EN4 0DY

    Black Horse
    PO Box 42,
    Peterlee
    County Durham
    SR8 2YQ

I would write the account number as shown on statements, do you still have these?
If not then write the full number as shown on the agreement.
    Good luck.;)

Thank for your confirming this Julie.
Good luck with your reclaim as well.

ScattyCat, if you've not actually started the reclaim just yet, follow the guidelines of reclaiming on the link added, it will take you to the questionnaire - issued by the FOS, these are in replacement of the first template letter, good luck and ask for help if required.;)

  • Hi folks, I think we have an offer lol.

We got a letter this morning saying they dont believe the policy was mis-sold, however they do accept that it was not suitable for our needs, therefore
"we are prepared to put you in the position you would have been in had you not taken out the policy" and
"we will calculate how much you would have paid towards the agreement had you not taken out the payment protaction policy and we will refund the difference between this and the amount you have actually paid. This will include any monthly added interest that was charged on the cost of the policy"
"Statutory interest at 8% simple on each payment made towards the cost of the policy calculated from the date we received the payment to the date we pay the redress"
    .

To me that sounds as if we are getting the whole lot back, I am I correct do you think? The cost of the policy was £881.00

    Yes your successful here :T.

The amount you posted, you will also receive interest on top of that, which will add up to be probably quite a bit then, well done!;)
