Bought C1 on elect 3 can it be used for business?
I recently bought a Citroen C1 on elect 3 with free servicing for the 3 years (I am the insured driver, OH is registered owner).
OH drives a Citroen Picasso but has been offered a self employed business opportunity where he will need a small economical car.
My questions are:
Can he use the C1 on elect 3 as a business car?
If he uses the C1 does he need to let Citroen know as its on elect 3?
Will this invalidate the free servicing agreement?
If the C1 on elect 3 is used for the business it will probably go over the mileage allowance on the elect 3 scheme, will this be a huge problem at the end of the 3 years?
Should he just change the Picasso for a smaller car? (worried that then we would be restricted to 2 small cars and no family car).
Any help appreciated:o

Read the terms and conditions. As far as I would think you can do what you want with the car subject to any mileage restrictions which could be quite onerous. Obviously with increased mileage you might breach your agreed maintenance levels (which are probably once a year or 15,000 miles (guesstimate) so check that too).
You will need to work out the sums on how much the extra mileage is going to imapct on your agreement.0 -
Thank you will dig out the agreement and read up on the charge if we go over the allowed mileage.0
