Singleton Car Boot Sale - Swansea
Just thought it would be useful if I posted up some information here on Singleton Car Boot sale.
Location: Opposite Singleton hospital in the car park of the Welsh National Pool.
Frequency: Every Saturday
Cost: £10 per car for sellers collectible later in the morning by stewards
Time: I would say aim to get there by 6am if you want a pitch to sell as when I arrived there it was filling up very fast.
Never done a car boot before?: You just turn up there, make sure you bring a table or something to display your items on as these are not provided. Useful if you bring someone with you too so one can watch the stall as the other gets coffee/tea and can allow one another toilet breaks.
My experience - people are here for bargains, if you want to sell an item that you would like to achieve over £5 for, then leave it at home and sell it on ebay instead. I found it extremely difficult to sell good quality items for a decent price. £5 for an Xbox game isn't much, but to these bargain hunters, it was too pricey!

I did a boot sale there on Sat - really good and was busy, sold the majority of my stuff!!
I got there at 5.20 and got a good pitch so the earlier you get there the better!
My tip is to take a flask of coffee with you and some snacks, by the time you buy coffee etc there you're spending your earnings!! Also my other tip is dont get sucked in to selling your stuff for really rubbish prices when the dealers come round at 6ish, you'll get more when the general public start arriving later on.

As the overview states 7.00 am we arrived ready to sell at 6.45 and we were told no room, it was crazy as when we walked around later they were tables put out and left, no sign of anyone going to use them.
I was very annoyed with this and was told by the car park attendant they pay there 10.00 pounds and go I suggest something is done about this as they empty pitches had obviously had the tables etc placed out the night before0
