    Welcome sunshineyday
Thanks for the welcome beanielou, I'm really hoping that this challenge will force me to get rid of the dreaded cc's a bit quicker.
I'm planning to use the 1st September as my quit date to give up the evil cigs and my aim is to use the money I save to complete the challenge and knock a dent in my debt.

    :hello: Hi all 100 dayers

Thanks so much Michelle for keeping this going

I was going to try to finish the Vanquis with this thread but as I have managed to get it onto a 0% I will try another one. I'm torn between Ulsterbank and Barclaycard but the interest rates are about the same since Barclaycard upped them and I think I would like to clear one completely this time so can I go for £474.75 off of Barclaycard.

I have got some work election canvassing too :rotfl:Seems like that is a recurring theme here this time. The exercise will either kill me or do me good:rotfl:

Welcome back all previous 100 dayers and welcome to all new 100 dayers

    Hi Michelle,

I'd love to clear at least £200 off my catalogue debt. Starting off small because I have a few things coming up in next few months so put me down for £200 for now. Thanks very much.

Hi, I'd like to join too please :).

I'm aiming to clear the loan in my signature so that's the £4883.81 remaining. It's with Zopa though, so I save some interest every time I make an overpayment and it won't be quite that much by the time I've paid it off. My diary was actually inspired by the last 100 day challenge, but it didn't leave me enough time to clear the whole loan so I just started my diary instead with an aim of 200 days. It's here if anyone is interested: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2514859

  • I've read all the posts, so i will get on with updating post 2 over the weekend with all our details.

Wangtao did you definitely want to join? Let me know what you want to do as i wasn't clear from your post.

    Jamiedodger - So that is a £6 payment for the 1st ;):D

I noticed some of you asking what to call me. I respond to Michelle or Cha. Nothing offensive. ;) Call me whatever you want.

I am getting excited now and working out what i can list on ebay. If i list tomorrow, by the time the auction ends next Sunday, i post it and the payment hits my account, it will count. So off i go.

    Hi Michelle,

Thank you so much for taking over the challenge, I'd be lost without it! Just checked the numbers and they have actually gone up a little since the end of the last challenge :o but I do have a bit put by/coming in to get back level. So I would like to pay £2529.53 during this challenge please, which will finally clear my credit card and overdraft, plus £350 owed to my boyfriend.

I'm feeling so fed up with myself at the moment, I've managed to pay off so much over the past year and and half but just seem to be stuck in a rut now, I really need to give myself a massive kick and just get it gone once and for all! So I will be relying on you all to give me sizeable pokes in the right direction please if that is ok with you lovely fellow challengers?

So now I'm just going to look forward to the start of this challenge and how amazing I will feel on 10th Dec when these three debts are paid and only the loan is left!

Okay I have £700.50 to clear a couple of small CC balances and my overdraft. I also need to save up an additional £1398 by Christmas or I can't go on my planned Jan holiday (I opened the savings account with £2 lol :D)

So that's a total of £2098.50 which is a flipping huge amount. Wish me luck, I'll need it!
