Sorry guys. I am the worst caretaker of this thread ever. I am amazed you are all so polite and don't prod me. I keep meaning to pop in and do stuff, but then i do a survey, or dooyoo or a bit of ebay, and the next thing i now weeks have past. So sorry.
I am still in kitchen hell and spending a fortune. Now at 2.5 weeks having a new one fitted , with about another week to go. On the plus side, during this time i have sold my old appliances, so got £170 on ebay this week and also £75 from selling my double buggy, so i am slowly plodding along trying to meet my targets.
I am going to try and get everything fully updated tonight and new people added.
I am not sure if there will be a new challenge. After doing it this time, i have realised the way it is run is actually quite hard work. I suppose if i could do it daily it wouldn't be as bad, but i don't seem to manage it. I won't be able to volunteer again. Saying that, it depends on if we need to have overall totals tallied, or if it is just reporting in to everyone and keeping our own total that is useful. Worth a thought.
Currently we are on Day 77.
It has been great to log on and see everyone paying and so many targets being met. Still a bit of time for the rest of us.0 -
it might be worth doing this one the same as the £10 a day in ................... thread and whoever volunteers to start it does the first post and the list post (member name and total trying to pay off) and the member just writes what they have managed to pay off in the thread and just updates the total in their sig. That way we all know our totals and others can see by looking at our sigs, plus the starter gets an easier job.
Just a thought if its a load of poop just ignore meDebt Free...yay! 10/09/2013 :j

Actually, maybe it is just as i keep leaving it. It has just took me from my earlier post to update, but i have not done it since the 21/10. There is usually only a few people per day, but i have made it a chore myself.
Posts one and two now updated best i can.
We have collectively paid off £39,812.47 of a target of £105,476.36.
That is pretty good going.
And best of all, i am closer to my own target than i thought. About £115 to go but i don't think i will make it now as too much else to pay for. We'll see.0 -
hi michelle - don't beat yourself up - we can keep track of our own totals
Paid another £600 off po card so £1102.98 left to pay on that! This will be cleared sunday as 0% is about to expire
Still stuck at most of it left to pay on second card thoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
