Not been around for ages but it was payday yesterday so new totals are

    £400 ~ £1250

However. £250 out of our savings above will be to close down another overdraft we have and close down a bank account we no longer need. Leaving us with 2 accounts (with both overdrafts maxed out :(), this should help improve credit rating, hence decision to do this than put all £400 towards the other overdraft as first planned.

If we keep on track it will mean by the end of the challenge we will have 1 overdraft with Halifax with just £250 on (£1250 originally, this was the one i was trying to clear) and one with £1600 on :D (which once the halifax is paid we will be focusing on clearing! :T) Of course if i can summon up another £250 and clear the halifax overdraft by the end of the challenge that will be FANTASTIC but its going to be hard going as it is :(

Ok well a bit of a change from yesterday. Decided to transfer wages and DD's to halifax instead. They have stopped our overdraft charges/interest for 90 days which should save us £90 :j. They have upped our OD by £250 whilst the DD's are moved, once this has been done we will be taking it straight off and then some :).

Not sure what this means for the challenge as im going to be shifting bits of debt around and paying bits off my other Overdraft, im just going to keep at it and aim to pay off as much as possible. Aim is still £1250 but just wont be from all one place if that makes sense?

  • £3.06 paid from me today.

Can i just point out to everyone, the first page is more than a little out of date. I am planning on sorting it this weekend. I don't know where my time is going at the moment. I'm finding it a bit hard to do my money making and get the challenge up to date more than once a week. I have all the data though, so it will get done. :D

Wow. More new people, and more bills getting paid. I am loving it. Keep it up everyone.

Paid £68 yesterday, so now £78 paid in total and £517 remaining. Not as good a start as expected, but at least I'm chipping aways.

I can't think of a better way to put it than wow. Well done everybody and thanks to Michelle for updating :T

I'm now totally embarrassed about my own contribution, so I've just paid £70.46, that's £522.76 paid and £1478.77 left on miscellaneous bits and bobs.
