Great news for you :T:THi Michelle,
Please could i join in the challnge? I had originally set myself a personal challenge of £800 to be paid by 31st December but its looking more than unlikely. I only just found this thread, so i think it would help me more if i posted on here. I have already paid £167 but everything went downhill from there.
So please could i put up a challenge of £849.75
Argos £253.96 / remaining £100.00
Natwest £400.00 / remaining £356.81
Halifax £270.00 / remaining £142.96
Car £250/ remaining £250 estimate (car still to be fixed)
So if i can get the car and argos out of the way i will be more than happy. I have more outragsous debt's but i'm trying to think positive by saying if get rid of the small ones then i can concentrate on the big ones later. If that makes sense.
Roll on Thursday and i can pay Argos straight off.
Thanks everyone!
good luck!
Of course you can join in:D

£386.69 for me today leaving £1490.01
I pay this money from what's left at the end of each month after I've budgeted for everything. We are going to have to cut down what we are spending from 'that money' that's supposed to be left overThis month we should have had £950 to put towards the loan but things kept cropping up... Next month there won't be as many croppers I promise. It should be £700 next month.
I'd also like to add bits throughout the month as it's such a long wait! I have a baby swing on ebay and some due from Quidco maybe next time so hopefully I can start chipping away a bit more!
Loving all your hard work people

Hi everyone,
Trying to get at least one of my CCs paid off through this challenge.
£487 paid today that leaves £1198 remaining.
I am debating whether to save for a holiday in mid January (go to see Gran for her 100th birthday) or to just continue busting the debt at a breakneck speed. What to do?
BBOriginal debt at LBM July 2008, £47, 654.34. Debt at January 2016, £21,443. Barclaycard [STRIKE]£9,000[/STRIKE]£8,756, Tesco cc [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£1,136. Debenhams storecard [STRIKE]£350[/STRIKE]£263, OD [STRIKE]£3,500[/STRIKE] £3,000, Corp Tax £3,036, Study loan £1,750, Smaller debts £2,000.
Since my LBM I have not been fully committed so now I have had a 2nd LBM.
Aiming to be debt free by December 2016:D0
