"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." Marilyn Monroe

  • Sorry for abandoning again. September is definitely not going to plan as yet. Found out my friend died from a heart attack, so not pleasant but at least we all know now. The funeral is next Tuesday. The cat ended up having an appointment at the local vets on Monday, where he was examined. I then had to take him to another vets on Tuesday so he could have all his fur shaved off on his stomach, sides and legs. He is a lot more comfortable, and thankfully let them do it without sedation, so it only cost £21. I think they felt sorry for me as i claimed hardship. If he had needed to be sedated and the costs racked up, there is no way we can do it when he is already so ill in other ways so he lived to see another day. :D (I'm not hard hearted really. I have cried a lot this week about him.)

We've also had DHs 30th this week, and a home visit from school where i found i need to buy my DS1 uniform for nursery. Only trouble is they have sold out in his size and it is only available the Saturday before he starts when i am supposed to be in London visiting relatives. Crazy. This weekend looks equally busy with needing to sort out some stuff for the new kitchen we want doing, and a kids party to attend. At least that stuff is a bit mopre fun.

At least you are all happy overpaying in my absence. Tonights job is to update the past few days.

Happytails. glad you are all ok after your fall. I did similar to DS1 when pregnant with DS2. His leg ended up underneath me so i was hysterical thinking i had broken it. He limped for a few minutes but was fine. I also tripped on a toy during the same pregnancy while carrying shopping bags, and ended up banging my head on the door handle and nearly knocking myself unconscious. I remember the worry well, so i am glad you are ok. Try not to rush round too much. x

beanielou thanks again for supporting everyone and welcoming newcomers. It is making me feel less bad about disappearing.

My own challenge - not going well to now. I wanted to pay something today but i can't even open internet banking. I will have to try again later.
  • Sounds like you are going through a tough time. The challenge runs itself fine while you are away, people keep plugging away at their targets so the updates arnt that important. All we need is a figure at the end of the 100 days to motivate people for the next challenge.
