Lloyds Tsb credit Card

Hi,
I have recently (over the past two years) been pursuing a refund of my ppi charges added to my platinum credit card with LTSB which I opened in 2002.
I have been through the Ombudsman and recently received a letter from the adjudicator stating that he recommended that LTSB reimbursed me and pay me £200 for the distress/inconvenience. However, as LTSB did not accept his findings (by not replying), my case is going further up the line to the Ombudsman.
Has anyone else had experience of this happening?

Hi there & welcome
And yes, this happens a lot, and lloyds are always one of them who does this, well most times anyway.
What will happen now is that your case will be moved on to the ombudsman himself, they do normally stick with the adjudicators decision, and the bank MUST comply to the ombudsman's decision, and of course you will also now be awarded the extra as you posted for the distress and inconvenience this have caused.
You should not be waiting as long as you did when you first complained, so give them a few weeks and contact the same adjudicator for updates on your complaint.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
