hi there all, i desperately need to raise more cash to make ends meet and have sold old phones through ebay before and am now trying (unsuccessfully) it seems to sell books through both ebay and amazon. does anyone have any suggestions about what else i could sell? i have lots of clothes but am not sure if that would be worth it, or should i persevere with books? all advice gratefully received!

I think I should have read your post before I added mine about selling books. There is an alternative to ebay and Amazon but I can't remember what it is. One thing I will say about selling books on ebay is that make sure you quote postage. If postage is left blank, I for one, am put off by a potentially high rate. (Not that I should be buying anything at the moment anyway!)I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

i lied - i've just managed to sell a book via ebay - for £5 - have to send it to the states. luckily i quoted postage of £20 for international so hopefully that should cover it. erk.carve your name in red. the silver slipping and slicing. rose petals blossom and fall. soul steals away.0 -
Hi mrslawrence...do you have any unwanted toiletries or make up? these sell well on ebay, as do clothes, I wait til 5p listing days and list all my unwanted things. If they dont sell after 2nd listing then I give the stuff to charity shops.
Hope this helps
