I'm due to have double glazing fitted on Thursday :jbut the weather forecast is set to rain.
Will this weather pose any problems for the work?

They can be installed, but not sealed on the outside if it's too wet.0

Sealants are usually installed when the fabric is DRY.0

Also if its absolutely peeing down be prepared for the inside of the house getting wet!0

As you are the paying customer tell them you only want them fitted on a dry day. easy really.0 -
Pic below is mine being done in a lot worse than a bit of rain! It all worked out fine, no floods, silicon and cementing all stuck and set, even though the mugs of tea were turning to ice!

Hi, If anyone is still reading this thread: the windows have now been fitted (there was 'rain' in the air that day), and everything went fairly smoothly, and I'm very pleased -they look so much smarter than what I had before!0
