Want to rent villa in portugal

Please can any one help? I would like to rent a villa in Portugal for 4 adults and 3 children for two weeks commencing on 11th August 2007 with a swimming pool and near to a save beach because we have young children. I have done a troll of the web sites but the prices for just a villa is £1600.00 per week. Can any one help because this is right out of our price range? Thank you in anticipation of your help.

I know of someone who owns a holiday villa 1 hours drive north of Lisbon, beach 5 mins, no idea how much he charges but if you pm me can give you the phone number.
