Hi there,
I'm in a wee quandry about my finances at the min.
I've been offered a new job, which is working termtime only (an absolute god send for childcare), however I will be dropping my hours and a considerable chunk of earnings.
I've put some figures into the entitled to webpage, but it seems like an awful lot of housing benefit that i will be entitled to? Over £100 per week??
My new job will bring in £90 per week, tax credits £127 per week, £20.30 CB. Using those figures, and a LHA of £115.38 per week (my rent is £550 p/month) I ended up with £400+ Hb/ctb per month??
does this sound about right?
I would really like this new job but if i dont get that amount of HB/CTB I cant afford to take the job.

I would contact your local council for clarification. Dont take a job on the assumption an internet site tells you how much benefits you will get. Best to get confirmation for the direct source if you are basing taking a job on these benefits0
