Should I tell .....

I had a new electric meter fitted and the company has made an error with my Economy 7 and normal rate electricity. The readings are the wrong way round making my bill a lot cheaper. The company has read my meter and not noticed the error. Is it up to me to tell them and legally would I have to pay when/if they eventually notice?

Come winter you will be paying through the nose for your night rates!!
  • Work out how much your bill should be every month and put the difference in a savings account. Then when they finally find out after a few years and send you a massive bill you will be able to pay it.
  • It'll probably come to light at the next reading. I'd ring them with the correct readings and ask for the bill to be re-issued.
From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!
