swam 50 lengths this morning - exhausted!!
well not much flying at home today
OH did the ironing (good lad that he is lol)
I flew at school and my classroom looks shiny and nearly ready for the new term, just need to finish labelling the drawers (made some super dooper labels today but there was no ink in the printer so I've done them b&w shame as they have lovely pictures on
may re do them in colour at a later date as I have saved them)
In work again tomorrow to meet 'the gang' to do some planningGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Vanilla - thanks for that.
I am really mad though now - just popped upstairs and OH has been in all of the bedrooms and left the doors open - whilst he is sanding walls.
(Does anyone know why my 'thanks' button doesn't work??
so its not just mr cabbage that does this!!
I finally resolved this continual problem by shutting him in room to be attacked and then .... wait for it ..... taping the door all up with a big sheet of plastic. When downstairs he was allowed to exit room via window, tried this for upstairs but bit of a downfall:rotfl::rotfl: so he has to stay in room, won't release him till job done. Made a huge difference to th resulting mess. Oh and when its plaster he is knocking off walls i give him a big spray bottle of water to dampen down the dust before he exits. HTH0 -

definitely not the inter-net:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I was impressed to hear about Gandalf, flying so well that Scottish airtraffic was put on alert! Pity my flying has reached nowhere near those heights this week, DH at home this week has had significant impact; gets in way, refills decluttered places and the number of times I pick up his mug and tspoon to put in dishwasher:mad:. Hopefully will catch up on all the bits not tackled yet from Tues + Wed list.
Mon - no probs, sorted
tues - Done level 1 and started level2
Wed -, early start tomorrow
Thursday is going to be a [STRIKE]good[/STRIKE] great day for all flyladies, and the sun will be shining (....somewhere...)
goodnight, nos da0 -
Hi all.
Mummyslittleboy this website http://wiifit.com/training/strength-training.html will give you an idea of what's on WiiFit+. Ignore the American accent.... in this country you get a British-sounding trainer!;) If you click on the tabs saying Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics, Balance Games and Training Plus near the top you get a panel at the right on which you can select the individual exercises to look at. HTH.:o
Thanks LW that was a big help looks like it will help me DD2 and DS when he is older:TI don't know how that works.. we have been sent the forms for the free tax disc but are unsure whether we can do that with the car belonging to OH and he isn't her parent or guardian... I'll go have a browse of the disability board I think.. if anyone want me.. I'm over there... asking stoooopid questions lol
Not sure how it works either but if you get stuck my uncle works for a car company and he knows quite a bit about the motability scheme.invisiblecabbage wrote: »definitely not the inter-net:rotfl::rotfl:
That did make me laugh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just dropping in after a hectic day. OH's ex is mucking him about re. the kids (this isn't new... ) and having said he could have one for 4 days this week and one for 4 next week she suddenly announced she was off on holiday next week Wed-Mon and expected him to move back into the family home to look after them... So we've been frantically sorting out his new flat so it's fit for them to visit, planning meals and shopping so he can feed them for 6 days (he's really not used to this as she hasn't let him have them overnight before). I keep telling him that he shouldn't mention my existence until the childcare arrangements are finalised, but I did wonder as I was doing the cleaning today (mug
) whether she might be happier knowing that there is someone other than OH around to look after them and make sure they are fed...
Still, it'll be good for him. And good for them all to spend so much time together. And I might actually get some work/flying/running done over the next couple of weeks!
ETA - piggers - I thought you'd decided that blue babies were too much like hard work so you only wanted pinks in future? Could you not adopt no. 10 rather than go through all the hassle again? I'm sure someone on here has a teenager they'd happily sell you...0 -

Hope you are healing well Toots, and taking it easy!
Thats all the brain cells used trying to remember the news on fred, hugs as appropriate, happy birthday to a DS, coping vibes to all that need them.
We got on well today - had my second to last back to work interview - complete waste of time cos I am not even remotely fit, but still if the govt wants to waste their money ...... Still had a breakfast in Wetherspoons which was nomnomnom. Didnt get any more outside work done, but managed to do some decluttering of the cupboard under the stairs and a kitchen cupboard plus some of the inside of the conservatory. Had planned some furniture moving, but MIL called at 2.30 to say that she had been violently sick and repeatedly. Went round to take over from the poor hairdresser who had emptied out the sick bowl etc for her:eek: She had had a ham sandwich for lunch - the ham was 2 1/2 weeks old and over a week out of date - it was green !!!!!!, Shes 87!! She is absolutely hopeless for this, and I regularly clean out her fridge but this one got away from me. You;d think she would know better but ........ Anyway, she finally stopped being sick and we left at about 6, had our tea, went back and checked on her and got back in at 7.30 so didnt do any more. But obviously we did have time to retune the telly, set up the freeview box etc, etc, etc (MEN!)
Anyway Ill stop talking drivel and go to bed - night night and have a good day tomorrow everyone - liloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
