    I'll be in this week.

I've been recovering from the journey back, unpacking - and of course, washing!

I've also been reading and knitting as today is still holiday really.

I'm still catching up with last week's thread - just wanted to say :hello:hi to all my fly lady friends!

    Hi,

Thanks for the lists and inspiration. Count me in again. Will post my list when it's short enough that I don't get an RSI!

    hello all

Many thanks to all at Flylady central Commnad!

    *waves limply as is knackered*;)

no I'm not I'm just teasing

FLYING...mad clean yesterday because I had a sleepover (fnaar fnaar) DD at my mum's with her cousin so as DS is more broadminded (and tells me he knows what I'm up to) I invited OH over - he had some mad idea about kipping in the lounge;)

so all was clean and shiny - including hotspot AKA the dining room table. Apparently it was the first time OH has seen it clean...*ahem* *cof* my house my mess...

jjef - thanks for reminding me of one of the key benefits of being single and grr at your OH

and this morning, before we left I pegged out towels...I have, unfortunately an ironing pile BUT if I leave it it gets smaller as if by magic...that'll be the teenies helping themselves to clean unironed clothes *turns blind eye*

    anyway

in this week but busy busy busy...am off to collect forints tomorrow...checked rate on here, rung local travel agent, told them I could get a better price online and got it matched...go me! Oh. and I've a wishing well to crack on with...

I'll be fluttering in and out. DH dysoned through today so I will try and do some wiping around etc. Also want to do more baby washing. I'm at home (working) on tuesday so will try and change the beds then.

Woollen cardigans etc - would you handwash or wash on wool cycle in wm? Have a few we've been given and although they are all new I'll prob wash them.

Rach - I use wool cycle on the wm - mine does more water, less turning and slower spin; if they are new you might want to try them at 15degrees if yours does that.

Good news - ironing all done

Very bad news - new shower room has been smelling, we now know why, new shower is somehow leaking underneath the tray. I am trying not to stress about this but have a very bad feeling about it and that the whole thing will have to be removed. About to email the builder.

    Evening all

Lil-me – what a nightmare your DP has had with his job. Hope it’s sorted now and you get to enjoy your time in the caravan in peace.
Cycling – glad your DD1 has had a nice day. You both deserve a bit of fun.
Fedup – hope you feel less sad soon. Send me a pm if you want to meet at a garden centre nearby for a coffee. I think you remember which one. I’m only a short way away.
Mummyslittleboy – sorry you had bad news. Hugs.
Soappie – take care and look after yourself. I’ve missed just over a week, so hope that everything is on track re the planning permission objection.
AnW’s Mum – are we still meeting?
Valli – that’s a lovely busy and happy sounding post.

I'm in this week - thank you to everyone for keeping this thread going. Special wishes for extra spoons to LL, toots, Diva and anyone else in need.

Had a slow start to the day and then went to costco with DS2. M'hall on the way back for a new sim card and to change unsuitable gameboy game. Put all shopping away, including taking some to friend's down the road and played for a bit on the gameboy. Did tea and bathed DS2. Sorted papers for DS1.

    Jobs for tomorrow:
deep clean bathroom in the morning (may need to break that down further, but would be a veeeery long list to type up)
    check two parcel delivery cards
continue to work on Mts Washmore and Ironmore AND PUT STUFF AWAY!!!
have a go at foraging with DS2 in the afternoon (blackberries and crab apples, if I can find them) - hoping for a crumble.
visit MIL with kids and holiday souvenirs

Thanks Dusty, think it does a cold wash so will try that on the wool setting. It's a new wm so should be ok i think.
