how to tell if Diesel/miss sixty items are fake?

I've got a couple of diesel and miss sixty items that i want to sell on Ebay, i bought them from a charity shop and whilst i'm sure they are genuine items i'm not 100% sure and Ebay reminded me that if they were found to be fake then i would get banned
are there any websites that show you how to tell fakes from the Genuine article?I'm only expecting to get peanuts for them, just wanted rid of them as i'm not going to wear them!

or is anyone on here an expert?many thanks:)

  • If you look at the care labels, the fake ones will have a generic care label, the genuine ones a diesel/miss sixty care label, sometimes with a style name and a style number.

  • Perhaps search ebay? I know someone done a guide to help reconise fake uggs. Dont know how to search ebay to find it though, possibly their forums.

hi thanks for your help, i@ve already searched ebay and all i can come up with is how to spot the fake jeans

o.k I've looked at the care-labels and on both the Diesel tops they say in tiny letters Diesel Iberia
Ebay made me paranoid as one of the tops tag inside is the classic red and cream Diesel label whilst the other is just a cream tag

and on the Miss Sixty dress care label it gives you the Miss Sixty website and made in Italy

    Sound genuine to me.
Diesel do have different labels, sometimes the cream sometimes the red and cream depending on the item.

thanks emerald, i just found a guide saying that Diesel items always have a silver strip on the tags(like a £20 pound note)and if you get a magnifying glass and look at the silver strip it should read Diesel over and over-which both the tops do!YAY!
