in Credit cards
Hi
I have a credit card with abbey/Santander dating back to 2007, and have just found out PPI is attached to this credit card.
What are the first steps, I sent off for copy of credit agreement, which I now have, but it doesn't state much really.
I know the limit on the card was £2,000
The APR was 15.9% (Variable)
I know I have had many late payment fees added to this account, £12 a time, but I'm stumped as to working it out a refund.
What can I claim back?
Can I claim back the interest and late payment fees and PPI?
Any advice is welcome.

OK, Thanks.
How do I work out the refund?
Should my credit agreement state what PPI is attached and for how much?
Thanks0 -
Just write to them stating that you were mis-sold PPI and that you want them to refund all charges plus any interest applied to the PPI element of your credit card balance.
I am sure there is a template letter on this website somewhere.
The bank is obliged to work out how much they owe you, when I claimed back my PPI on a loan, I actually got more back than I worked out myself!
Hope this helps.0 -
If your questions haven't already been answered or you have more it might be worth you reposting this in the PPI forum, there are some really informative people on there who will help you!0
