Praise - Delta airlines

I was on holiday in New York, due to fly home on August the 13th, when my mum died unexpectedly on Monday 2nd August.

I went straight to the airport, expecting to have to pay large amounts of money and be kept hanging around. Delta put my husband, son and I on the next flight home, at no cost. They even gave us the nice seats with the legroom at the front.

They were brilliant, so credit where it's due. Fly with them and not BA (they don't go on strike either)

You probably have already, but it might be an idea to contact the company and thank them personally for their help at such a difficult time for you.

Sorry to hear about your mum, I know it must have been devastating to lose her and made worse by the fact you were so far away.
