Plan of action for today......

Hi everyone, hope everyone's okay,
Just a note of what I want to get done today:

1) Snowball Calculator
2) Update signature with creditors details
3) Check bank balance
4) Check gas / electricity accounts online and try to prepare for winter!
5) Check out EBay for selling - never done this before but want to get some stuff on today

Think I'll sit in garden whilst it's sunny and then it won't seem such a chore!

Have a good day everyone, take care x

Wow! you are going to be busy today, doesn't the sun bring out the best?

I love ebay and made over £1000 in two months, a lot of stuff belonged to my daughter (designer clothes etc.) but she had moved out 3 years before and just left it all. We kept asking her to sort it out but she couldn't be bothered so in the end I told her what I was going to do. It then became a bit of an obsession and if it didn't move then it got e-bayed. I've run out of stuff now but it really did bring in some decent money which kept the wolves from the door for a while.

    Good Luck!

Good for you. Every day there's a new thread so people can discuss what big or small things they intend to do, or have done today to et out of debt. At the weekends it's two days on one thread, here is this weekends https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2660805

I don't use them so much myself but I know a lot of others do and they find them warm and supportive places to get encouragement and positive feedback. I thought perhaps you might like them.

    Best Wishes with everything.
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Hi facing up to it! Looks like you're getting into the swing of the DFW lifestyle! After a while it becomes more fun than the spending, IMHO anyway! Sounds like you need to come over to the "what small DFW things will you do today?" thread. We post each day the small (and big) things we do each day to contribute to becoming DF, encourage, motivate & support each other - its cyber DFW fun! ;)
    DF as at 30/12/16
    Wombling 2026: £25.70
    Grocery spend challenge Feb £285.11/£250
