Rocket Problems!

I have grown rocket from seed and it has grown well and we have been eating it for about a month.
I went into the garden this morning and the rocket leaves are covered in what loks like thousands of black eggs.
Do anyone know what these might be?

I really enjoyed picking and eating my rocket daily, now I will have to dump the lot.

Comments

  • Don't dump it use a high ressure water jet and wash the eggs off they will only be an insect and harmless You may need to be a bit more vigilant when you wash what you are going to eat but don't be put off

I wouldnt dump the plant either. I have rocket in my garden and it overwinters and comes back each year. last year it had lots of green fly (so the aphids had more than me) this year it had no aphids and I have had lots of rocket to eat.
