Trojan on Netbook

Hello,

I am disappointed to have only just noticed that I have a virus on my netbook - thanks Kaspersky! It's only been there 15 days!

Please can I have advise on where I start. Is it Malwarebyte, Hijackthis or Combofix that you start with, please?

(ps I have added some spaces into the above so that it is not clickable as that is where the infection apparently came from and I don't want anyone clicking on it by mistake).

I'd be very grateful for any guidance to fix this please.

Hi, dogmaryxx

The front screen looks like that and the banner is showing green and no active threats.

But the report page - Detected Threats Tab shows Status Infected.

However, I have just tried the differing views eg All, Disinfected files, Quarantined, Active Threats. When I click on Active Threats nothing comes up so I guess I am okay and owe Kaspersky an apology (although their software is very confusing!).
