I never even considered there would be different flavours - I just did a scan on the Woolies site and selected the closest.

You are right though, the link I gave was to a 'Gift Pack'. The one I bought was a 'Starter Pack'.

It was blue and for 4 and up. It didn't have Cars in it though, just generic books.

So, ask in Woolies for the Leappad plus writing Starter Pack.

The only difference between the starter set you got for £22 and the gift pack that's selling for £48 appears to be the choice of books?

They both contain:

1. the LeapPad plus writing system
2. Earphones
3. Carry case
4. 3 books

Or am I missing something?

saw the same one in asda for £12.49.you also get the one that does the maths aswell..and that was £15.49......cheer's!!

Spotted the ones in ASDA at £12.49 yesterday although the ones in the Manchester Eastlands store were all normal Leappads with one book . The Leappad plus writing systems were still normal price.
