best place to sell a car numberplate
Let me apologise in advance if I have posted in the wrong section as I am a complete novice at this. I would like advice on the best place to sell a car numberplate, my elderly parents have had this plate for several years they bought it on the car and were told it was worth something, well the car has finally died and they are scraping round to find enough money to buy another one they have looked online and similar plates sell for between £500-£1000
They need as much cash as they can get for it, should we contact lots of different firms and see what the best valuation is? do the firms buy the plates from you or do they just advertise them and take a comission should we sell them on ebay?
