Hi
I've an auction coming to a conclusion today and I've had a query from a potential bidder saying ebay is blocking him bidding from Italy. Can one of you good people tell me how to amend my listing so he'sable to bid?
Thanks

Have you got bids on the auction? If you have you cant amend the international bidders bit, but if you havent just go into revise item and the option is at the bottom of the page hth0

Thanks Natalie. I've no bids yet (it's a really obscure item) but I still can't amend to accept overseas bids. I've e-mailed my Italian and promised to re-list0

italy is a pain to post to. I only post there if i can afford to lose it.0

I did have italy blocked for ages due to their postal service, I have just allowed 2 Italian bidders to buy low end items from me though. Out of interest I have just checked and neither has left feedback yet, and both items were sent over 2 weeks ago. Hop[efully that just means they don't leave feedback routinely, rather than my items have disappeared into the ether yet again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Not only postal service, their customs is picky too - they will keep the parcel for "inspection" for weeks, and time to time the buyers have to pay extra tax for "importing" items. All of the posts are my own opinion. Not necessarily they are 100% accurate.0

Italy is perfectly fine to send to if you use ISF as they are anal about making sure anything signed for is actually signed for. They are more jobsworth than us then it comes to things like that.
If it's ordinary post, they you pay your money and take your chances!Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
I'm grateful for the advice. I'm also too embarrassed to tell you what I listed and the trivial amount I'll (hopefully) get when I list it properly next time0

If you check your preferences tab, you should see the buyers name in the list, if he has attempted to buy, you can exempt his username rather than relist.
My ebay, account, site preferences, show all, buyer requirements activity log, check username, exempt.0
