Landlord/house insurance

Hi all
New to this forum and looking for some advice please.
What it is, i rented my house out last year and took out landlords insurance buildings only no contents ins.
Anyway what i would like to know ive moved back into my property and wondering can i just keep landlords ins going cause i am thinking of letting out in the future,so i dont want to keep chopping and changing between residential and landlord ins and keep having the hassle of more and more paperwork,am i breaking any kind of law?

    The landlord insurance is generally more expensive so you could cancel and save the difference.If you notify them that you are reoccupying the house they may suggest what you should do-they gain if you do nothing and if you have informed them you are keeping to your side of the contract.
