Anyone know the Tabacco prices in Majorca 2010

Anyone going or just come back from Mallorca do you know or could you find out the current price of Golden Virginia 50gram packs please.

Indeed, fixed price at all Tabacs in Spain, but more in supermarkets etc., and far more at the so called Duty Free at airports.

Below is a link to the official prices, charged across Spain and the Balaerics. The 1st column is the price in Official Tabaccos shops, the 2nd column is the price from vending machines in bars etc. Click on cigarillos for cigarettes and Picadura de liar for tobacco.

Hi all thanks for the info BUT i happened to bump into a mate, he and his wife caught a cruise ship from Palma on the 4th august and he bought 5x50gram from a kiosk by the harbour 18 euro that sound a very good price.

That cant be right, as it states 3.70 for lambert and butler and 3.35 for mayfair, i was paying 2.50 and 2.10 respectively for single packs, even cheaper for 200's. 20 euro for lambert.
Aaah, but are the canaries classed as spin for these purposes? As i know its different for duty free :think:

The Canaries are a duty free zone, different prices to Spain are in situ, as are import rules.

Not possible for genuine Golden Virginia.

Just got back and GV was 48.50 Euros for 10 X 50gm Packs and B&H were 3.85 Euros per pack. I checked in a few Tabacs in different towns and prices were all the same.
If you are going to buy quite a few (I bought 15 packs of 10) make sure you ask for some freebies, they have to charge 48.50 for the GV BUT they can give you freebies. I got a bottle of Smirnoff and a bag of lighters, but in the past I have had T shirts and other things.
