How much to put for car value?

I bought a brand new Hyundai i20 at the end of March & just changed my existing policy as I knew I was coming up to the magic 4 years no claims.

So, I'm checking around for the best deal, but am a bit stuck on what to put for the value of the car. As it's so new I can't find any for sale second hand to compare, and I believe that within the first year most insurers pay the full list price anyway. So do I put the list price, or knock off the couple of thousand that went as I drove out of the dealers?

I don't want to put a lower price that means I won't get the proper value back if the worst happens, but the full list price does obviously add to the premiums I'm getting quoted!

Thanks for any help :-D

I can't imagine it will make a great deal of difference. Either to your premium or the settlement in the event of a total loss.
