Mint credit card & rbs takeover

by Santander. MINT card was originally the RBS Classic and is still under the RBS umbrella. I'm wondering if the MINT credit card is being taken over by Santander when it buys the RBS bank branches or is this just confined to banks?

No it's just the branches and customers of said branches.

MINT might be winding down - they're not taking on any new customers.

A&L credit cards went to MBNA when the Santander takeover started so they obviously weren't part of the deal. I have one with quite a history - started off as Chase Manhattan, then Girobank, then Alliance & Leicester. Current incarnation is MBNA Platinum.
