My brother had to go to court to obtain access in the first place because she is very unreansonable. he has always payed his way in maintenance and he always goes to collect her and drop her off.
dont really think anyone will know them and if they do they will know off the situation as they are very good communicators in that area.

I'm very surprised that SS disclosed the informants name as that is not usual.

You can complain. Your first complaint should be addressed to the Director of Social Services. Also send a copy to your local councillors. If you are unhappy then they have to give you details of their complaint procedures. Each LA has to have a complaints procedure and they are usually independent and impartial.

As regard the safety issue I think your brother should seek full custody based on a child protection issue. He is the childrens father so he is responsible for their welfare. I think it's a solicitor your brother needs not Social Services.
