Egg money manager -Password safe

Does anyone know where the password safe is kept on the computer. I have just bought a new laptop and looking to move the files over from my old desktop. I use egg money manager to mannage my accounts and it would be ideal if i could just copy the file over (I have no idea of my login details for half my accounts - hence egg money manager!)
Many thanks in advance.
PS. BG not sure if this is the best place to post, please move if there is a more suitable board!

Having them all in a single file would seem to me to be a security risk... not sure if it works like that.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
It asks you to download the password safe - so I presume this is were they would be stored. I am no technie by all means so any help wpuld be appreciated. The other option would be to request new details for the accounts I don't know!0

I think the password safe is a program rather than a file.
Imagine if you put the file that contained all your credit card logins and passwords on a CDRom, for example, and it fell into the wrong hands. It just seems too insecure to me.
I do use the password safe myself, and I assume that if I needed to change computer I'd have to set it up from scratch again.
Why not PM egg and ask their advice? My TV is broken!

I believe it is a control that is secure and you can't move it to another computer. When I reinstalled windows on my PC I had to digg up all the details of my accounts again and redo the whole thing0

AccountUnity (who provide Egg Money Manager) have confirmed that it is not possible to transfer the password safe. Egg have chosen not to implement the portable password safe feature that is available in their full product. Once logged into the safe, there are ways to get at the passwords for individual accounts - I haven't tried this myself, but with a bit of technical knowledge, shouldn't be too hard.0

Any ideas?0 -
Are you saying that you do not have the log in details for the accounts anymore?
This is worrying as further delving into this issue and providing information on extracting login information could possibly be seemed as an attempt at fraudulently trying to get someone elses information?.0 -
Wow, suspisous mind! I can assure you I am not attempting any kind of fraud, I just don't know my username for barclaycard as it is a number which they give you. I also don't have the card anymore (so I can't spend on it) and I know it is a nightmare trying to get this information as you have to enter expiry dates/ security codes etc off the card (which I don't have!)
I'm sure I read somewhere that people made copies of their password safes and kept them locked away, but I could easily be wrong.
Nevermind, I'll just wait for my paper statement to come through!0 -
it is not possible.0
