I applied for this account on the 5th. Now the 20th and I still don't have online access to check if the pound I transferred got there or what interest rate I got or to apply for a card and reader to be able to take any money out.

An online savings account which requires a postal transaction from me to them and 4 postal transactions from them to me to set up. What were they thinking.

They are all in my name - but there is no restriction as to who you can set up a payee as long as you have name/accno/sortcode and optional /reference/comments.
