:jOooo! Hello Korky!!! Was wondering where you were? Im rubbish at keeping up at the mo what with no heating for days - it numbed me!! (working now thank gooodness). Me extremities were frozen and about to drop off ! :eek:

I seem to have gone into comp melt down - trying to enter them all, advents too, and ending up entering very little cos there are so many. The eyes have glazed over and the grey matter has given up! :rotfl:

So sorry to hear you have been poorly - do hope you are on the mend now. Also just had a quick read back over the posts and it seems a lot of peeps have been/are unwell.

Get well soon all - you have my very best wishes xx Will stock up the brandy behind the bar for all - medicinal purposes mind!!!

My lovely daughter was meant to be coming down today to stay for xmas but all routes were blocked re accidents and awful weather conditions. Its a good 6 hours journey anyway at the best of times. She's going to try tomorrow, weather/safety permitting.

same here, i've not been doing a lot of the advents
can't keep up with them, puzzles & comps all
just try to do your best am sure it's all we can do

glad your heating sorted xx must of been awful for you xx ((hugs))

am feeling a bit better, though still wobbly on the feet
could do with some brandy but can't drink as on antibiotics
will take you up on the brandy when finished though :j:D

I posted earlier about Tina our dog

I have been holding off the tumultuous decision of letting Tina our dog go and did not wish to make the decision this side of the New Year

however Alice my wife has been saying that she is fed up of being in the house all of the time and misses the company of other people

so I guess she has in her own wisdom made this hard decision for me

Tina is a Bearded Collie and is 13 years of age and she is a very loving and rewarding dog and we have had her since she was 6 months old

we originally went for a small male dog but we saw Tina at the bars of her cage in the dogs home putting her paws through the bars and we just couldn't walk past her

as she is now getting old she needs very little exercise and sleeps mostly during the day

she is very good with children and she even like cats!

there is a cat near us that she frequently sees she licks the cat and the cat responds by purring and rubbing against Tina

This has I must say has been one of the hardest decisions of my life so far and it is breaking my heart to make this decision but I feel that this is the best way forward

Still a bit under the weather but will try and get rest of my comps posted.
My girls are poorly now with the same chest infection/flu thats going around. I feel guilty for passing it on to them!
