Hi skippy,

Yes I've been present wrapping!
Got a throat infection and on antibiotics so feeling a bit miserable! Hope you are ok.
Only got one prezzy still to come and its for my parents to give me so not that important. Was hoping the silk scarf and earrings from the !!!!!! would come to put in dds stocking but just been posted I think. Collage mug for my dad arrived yesterday from Snapfish - it is great!
Going to do some housework now.

Hiya sheils. Hope you start feeling better soon. I've got a cold at the minute so am feeling somewhat icky Still would rather be ill now than over xmas I suppose. Glad to hear the mug arrived ok

Helloooo! Is anyone in the inn? Is there a log fire burning so's i can warm meself? Plus a stiff double brandy wouldnt go amiss!! Boiler gave up the ghost 4 days ago, no heating, no hot water - nothing. Got lovely local gas guy trying to help but he is trying to track down parts cos boiler is so old .

My god its bl---y cold! We are all layered with so many clothes!! Just been out in garden with my lovely doglet - topping up bird food, de-icing bird bath - poor little critters - like to help them as much as i can. Come back in to thaw out!!!

Is there coffee in the inn? Irish coffee would be nice, with yon liqueur and loadsa cream on top!!! xxxx

Aww AlfieBlue I hope you manage to get the boiler sorted I hate being cold. OH never feels cold but I've always got the heating on :rotfl: I could quite fancy a Baileys coffee now that you mention it. Although when I make them it always ends up being mostly Baileys and very little coffee

Morning all!

Alfieblue - You have my sympathies, we had no heating a few weeks ago and it was unbearable. Now that ours is fixed, I have it on all the time to make the most of it! Try and keep warm though :snow_grin

Hope everyone is well and no-one is snowed in, we have had a sprinkling of snow here, but nothing too disruptive thank goodness.

The plan for today is to get a start on getting the house ready for christmas. I have to give the kitchen a really good clean and I have loads of pressies left to wrap. No time to comp properly at the mo, but I am just managing to keep up with advents.

Thank u :)xx Ooooh yes - baileys topped up to the hilt and a few coffee granules!! :rotfl:The house is so cold, honestly cant tell you. I am an ancient wimp!!!! Thankfully we had a couple of electric heaters in the garage so have got them going. Washing by heating up kettle for hot water. Not so bad really lol!!!! Im sure there are worse off than us. xxx

Cold here but no snow at least. Got to drive to London tomorrow morning,a few weeks ago we won a break at the langham hotel with Hello mag and are taking it Sat and Sun! Looking forward to it!


Im sure Ive seen someone quite regularly here with a Chelsea FC badge as their pic but cant think who? Any ideas?

Aww Alfie thats terrible I hope you get the boiler fixed soon. Ours broke down before the weather got really cold and the guy from British Gas seemed to replace half the parts so hopefully it will be ok now. It is so depressing being cold. Keep my fingers crossed for you.

I have actually just now made a Baileys coffee To be fair though I have a cold so I only really made it for medicinal purposes....
