    Shame it was not the other way round, don't get the Olympics and do get the World cup. The World cup would have been almost no cost to the public while the Olympics have cost some people their jobs and homes and we are all paying towards the £Billions it is costing (and the disclosed figures are well under the actual cost).

    Kids at school again and the snow is just piled up in mounds at the side of school. I can imagine how flooded it will be soon! Theres less than half our kids in school and its probably costing more to keep the school open!

    Seriously getting worried now that dd's presents aren't gonna turn up for her birthday on saturday. :( Saw parcel van stop outside and got excited but it was netto footie shirt win from August!

    Hi everyone,

    Hope you are all coping with this weather. We don't usually have any snow here and usually its not too cold so it has been a shock for us (although we are having it easy compared to most areas)

    Hope your dd's gifts arrive wingo. Can't believe how quickly my Xmas present orders have been coming. Too cold to go out so have been getting all my presents on- line. Haven't picked anything for myself yet though!
