Morning! Hope all is well,I got up this morning and checked my e-mails to find I had won myself a nice pair of Trainers Adidas make so that made my day.

Not doing alot today as just pottering around my flat.

Brrrrr, its freezing here, :snow_laug, and its not helped by the fact that our boiler packed up on friday and we have no central heating or hot water . But after much moaning to the boiler insurance people, someone will be back out to see us this afternoon, so hopefully they can fix it (Although it looks like a part has to be put on order which may take a while to come into stock).

I'm trying to look on the bright side though. I have sent DD over to in-laws to have a bath and keep warm for the day, giving me a chance to get a few bits done and catch up with the comps.

Sorry about your boiler molly - ours been playing up too but we have an emersion heater built into ours so can always get hot water.
British Gas has been good at coming out the same day. Engineer got ours working but coming out again today to fix it properly.

Don't tend to post here but I was wondering what are people doing with unwanted prizes as I'm not sure if im allowed to offer them anymore on the I Won threads.

I've won a runners up prize of standard tickets to Taste of Christmas at ExCeL London from 3-5 December.

There is no chance of me going and if the snow continues Im not even sure if I can get out the front door :rotfl:.

well, a lot of the junior schools sent the kids home early due to the snow. The secondary school here finishes at 2.30 so they didn't finish early but there is a statement on the website now to say the school is closed tomorrow talk about hatchhing your chickens before laying the egg. I remember when I was at school ours NEVER shut and when the heating boke or the oil or coal hadn't been delivered you sat with your hat scarf and gloves on but you still stayed at school. Come to think about it the buses still used to run too and I lived on the pennine slopes so we always had quite a lot of snow in the winter.

How times have changed, a little snow and everything comes to a standstill.

Just waiting for my grandson to come back in he went out with his cousin to play snowballs lol and my son should be home around 5.30 all being well. I have had to ask if he will pick me up a couple of bits at the shop as my poor old scooter can't cope with snow and ice.

Well, need to get on and finally enter some comps today I've only managed to get the dailies done so far.

I got another stroppy message frm the little madam on facebook who messaged me yesterday so again marked it as report spam.

Don't really know where to put this question...so I'm nudging in here.
I keep seeing people talking about winning netbooks from Robinsons but I haven't seen that competition. Is it still going? I've searched but can only find posts where people have won...can't find the actual competition itself.
