have had adblcoke rplus for ages, wouldnt be with out it. its no script ive just downloaded again. now remember why i didnt download it again though....it makes everything not work and i got fed up of having to allow practically every site i went on and copy pasting captcha stuff lol

btw im glad your staying, i didnt want to bring it up again when it was on a previous page...but since its been mentioned again anyway feel like i can say that now. everyone is allowed spats now and then, not many are big enough to admit they had one and go back on what they said.

I also use Adblock Plus as using No Script is like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut it causes far to many problems on too many pages

if you are using FF and you cannot see ABP at the top of your browser you need to right click at the top of the browser and select customise look for ABP and left click and drag and drop it to the top of the browser

then click on the little ABP downward arrow select option make sure there is a tick in the box "Show in Status Bar" so that you can also see ABP at the bottom of your browser

I use EasyList + EasyPrivacy subcriptions you can also use Fanboys list I prefer the first subs as I think that they performs slightly better, the subs are available here

when you have your sub filters working load any page from mse and right click on ABP at the bottom of the browser in the status bar click on Open Blockable Items to bring up the blockable items and search box type google you should see http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js right click on this and click on Add exception rule for this item select ||google-analytics.com^

do the same for chartbeat and select ||static.chartbeat.com/js/*

this will now block the two javascript analytics

thank you helped imenseley (however the heck its spelt!).

blocked them both now, and tried to get clever and hide the green thing with martins piccie right at top but thankfully managed to undo that one as it messed the whole page up lol
i never know what i can safely (and need to ) block so rely on easylist. cant remember if i got easy privacy last time too or not...so have added it again. i really should go and learn about all this stuff given the hours i spend online daily.

sounds like you need the British English Dictionary add on if you install it you will still be able to speak perfectly good English even after drinking 15 cans of Budweiser :beer:

It's very easy to get rid of martin not quite sure why you would want to right click on the image in the left hand corner click on Adblock Plus:Block Image then click on Add Filter and puff he's gone!

I'ts ok surgeoner I've put him back again and fortunately he's still in one piece but for some reason he seems to have grown a moustache!
