Hope you are all well today. I am much better now as gas engineer has been back with the spare part for my boiler and the house is warm again. It was a miserable weekend without the central heating!

I have today decided to [STRIKE]think about making[/STRIKE] make the tumultuous decision of leaving MSE for good

I have been unhappy for some time with the recent changes being made on MSE I:e the implementation of the bright green colours and the Skimlinks fiasco which where thrust on us compers by MSE without any real consultation beforehand

the straw that has broke the camels back for me are the changes that Glad is making to the Regulars board by moving multiple post's away from the main board without any consultation which I feel is a step in the wrong direction

the Regulars board in it's present form is unworkable for the vast majority of compers and putting more post's in there from the main board (without any real thought beforehand of the consequences) is only going to make it worse, more work for Gilla and Princess Pixiedust and more people having to PM Gilla and PP thus resulting in more work for everyone involved

the Regulars board should work without any intervention from Gilla and PP and without any support from compers

this should have been looked at before moving post's away from the regulars board

as I have said in the comp discuss thread

trying to rejuvenate the Regulars board is like trying to flog a dead horse

if something isn't broke then it doesn't need fixing if something is broke then it needs replacing!
