right mind i won a holiday with Adios several months back.
couldnt go cos my passport was lost by bank who denied it, but between renewing that
& spending & extra food money, i thought id need to wait till next Oct 2011 deadline before i could afford to go.
ive been 'screamin out for a real break'
the t&c's of comp said no cash alternative & not transferable.
but i decided it was worth a try to talk to the organisers or promoters & ask if at all poss under my circumstances, could they please give me a uk break,
i emaileed them
i waited an hour for reply that said they would ask, then came another email.

Hi ,

After sending my last email we have just had a response from the promoter and we are able to offer you a break in the UK for the equivalent value.

We are able to book with Hoseasons (cottages, lodges and park and city breaks), Haven and Superbreak.

If you do fancy tickets to a sporting event then we can also look into this.

Depending on the cost of the break we will also try and squeeze in some spending money for you.

Please let us know what you would prefer to do.

That was very good of them to do that - I Love London & booked my hotel this year through superbreak they beat the price of the hotel I wanted by a few hundred over all the other sites (also found a 10% off code on hotukdeals) & they were very efficient to deal with - have fun looking honey & tell us all as soon as you decide all the details
