Morning everyone kids back today

eldest has left for college already :eek: bless her shes never been up and out for 7.10 before LOL

youngest is also up and ready for school, shes gone into yr 10 so a new uniform for her for 2 years, she looks very grown up

anyway hope everyones ok and you all get your kids back to school etc ok, doesnt seem like 5 mins since they were at nursery

Morning VWC. Yes the time really goes in doesn't it? My ds1 jets off to Bermuda to work on Friday, he is an accountant with PWC. Its so exciting to see them getting on. Kids have been back at school here for over a week but still trying to get back to a routine. DD started high school so its been exciting for her - just had to run and iron her cardigan as I forgot about it! Now I have a nice peaceful time to do some comps.

Hi All

Loving the fruit pics - Superbanana is my favourite.

Well it's been a strange old day already, and its only 1.30pm-ish....

Its DD's first day at "Big" school, and so she woke us up at 5am to get ready, and got ready far too quickly then sat around being a nervous wreck.

I went to work, and Hubby eventually dropped her off at her new school at 8.30, then took DS round to his school for the first day back in Year 2, but when he got there DS's school was closed. :eek:

The online school timetable clearly states that they go back on Monday 6th September, but it seems that somewhere hidden and at the bottom it tells you today is a training day so the school will be shut

Hubby wasnt the only one though, he said there were loads of parents attempting to drop the kids off this morning.

So, I have had to creep to my child hating boss, to let me take an emergency half day off work to mind DS this afternoon so hubby can leave for work.

Driving home from work I saw a load people dressed as clowns walking down the road - no idea why? (clowns really scare me!), and then the heel broke off my shoe as I got out of my car (on my driveway thankfully)

It's my wedding anniversary today (13th) - which clearly is proving to be unlucky 13.

On a better note, being here now means that I will get to collect DD myself and see how her first day went.

WOW, thats some morning BBTHREE!!

Happy Anniversary and look on the brightside, if school hadn't been closed you wouldn't be able to pick your DD up who I am sure will be pleased to see you and you get time to squeeze some comping in!!

I made it through my first morning back at work.....just.....only 7 weeks to half term .....:rotfl:
