I did this competition over summer, bought 11 packs of various size budweiser, predicted the results well and won.
However last month they asked me for the codes i entered but they had been thrown away. I managed to find one and on this it does not mention having to keep as proof.
They are now saying that i cannot be given my prizes.
Anythin i can do?:(
It says in terms and conds that you must keep the codes and send them off if you won... I did, and today got delivered a fridge and tely.

I was thinking  (please tell me if it's a stupid idea, it could be, but it makes sense in my head! :rotfl:)...:o
I know that I've mentioned before about the problem with competitions being posted with the next days end date (it's not a problem at all (providing everyone knows how to sort by ending date) if "(00.01)" is put after the date as they're bunched together at the beginning of the comps for that day (because of the brackets) so it just takes a quick check of the first page or two of that dates comps to see if there's any that need doing before midnight) I noticed one the other day (I'm not saying which one as I don't want it to be seen as blaming anyone, as I'm not, because it's so easy to forget to do things like that) which was posted with the next day's end date and it was only put in the post and not in the title, it didn't have as many thanks as I would have expected, which I wasn't sure if it was because of the end date or not?
I know that the BG's :A only have limited time on the boards to do things such a Game Overing, but I wonder if it's possible to skip a day in moving things over, and then start again the next day with the comps ending the day before? That would mean that it should be no extra work as it's just done the same as before, but a day shifted? So for example the ones ending today would have been moved over at the time tomorrows would have been moved over instead? Does that make any sense?
I just thought it might stop any confusion over end dates and mean that things can just be posted as is as they will be there all day on the day they end?
Like I said, please tell me if it's a really silly idea but I know there's been quite a bit of discussion about things being moved over what is perceived as too soon, so thought it could be a good solution, hopefully without causing anyone (including the BG's) any other problems.
As always, thanks to everyone that posts and helps out on here, as without you all, we wouldn't have any comps to enter and would be in a right mess!! :T0 -

no I agree with you bargainhuntergal. I personally appreciate the good work the board guides do :A, but I can't for the life of me understand why board guides move comps to GAME OVER before the end date. I have been caught out with this problem, it's particularly a problem for 1 DAY comps. All they need to do is leave comps alone until the day after the end date. Also I have posted comps that have no specific date and guess, and go back weekly and amend to another end date, I don't know but these could be moving to GAME OVER early on and even though I'm amending will stay in GAME OVER.#StaySafeWishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year0 -
Yes, I agree, I wouldn't move something to Game over until that day had actually passed as they can have so many different finishing times. I had to do a few on day ending today recently as I'd run short of time and I'd always assumed that was what happened.0

I think that this is an excellent idea. To my mind, it would not even matter if the BG's were particularly busy if the comps did not get moved to GO for a couple of days or more.0

Hi there All,
This is my first post in the discussion thread and need so advice from you all. I am pretty to new to comping.. I love it! I have been looking at the monthly wins for you all and I am amazed, I sit filling out the competitions thinking which one of my kids would like what or planning who I could give the prize to in my family. Something that I do wonder though is this, do you all just enter comps on this site or do you go elsewhere too? I really love comping and when I finish entering my mse comps for the day I feel at a loose end. So would any of you old time compers offer some advice to a newbie
