If you follow the MSE plan for checking premiums, combined with checking cashback sites, then it is unlikely you'll find any IAM discount policy that beats the cheapest price.0 -

The course is well worth doing, but not for the insurance discounts. You'll learn all kinds of things, including problems that subconsciously you've added to your driving, which you shouldn't have.
If you enjoy driving and if you want to be a better driver, do it.0 -
Although the insurance discounts are really a marketing gimmick, you could still say that your insurance should be cheaper over the long term for driving to advanced motorist standards.
If you follow the advanced driving techniques you should have a much better driving history to show insurers for years to come than "ordinary" motorists. This will be reflected in lower base premiums.0
