I have been keep track of what I have saved and made since Feb this year and thought I would share it with you all.
£1341.17
Broken down
Shopping savings from batch cooking etc £300.00
Trainfare savings buy shopping around £300.00
Taking HM soup for lunch £170.00
Ebay/Carboots/Amazon £321.34
Vouchers/coupons £91.35
Freebies £22.37 Found in Street £1.86
Mystery Shopping £66.51
Cashback/paid clicks/surveys £67.74
Also not included in the total as I dont get it until the end of this month, I asked for a bonus at work as I felt I have worked exceptionally hard and I am getting £500!!!
I am really pleased with this total as I have another 6 months to go. Think I may try and set myself a target of saving £4000 next year!! This has paid for a holiday for me and DH. We also have £500 put away for a new bathroom, which we will put in, in the new year.
I have also already started Xmas shopping, hoarding for Winter and have been overpaying the Mortgage by at least £50 per month, so we could have saved much more.
I work long hours, leave the house at 7am til 7pm, I have a voluntary job and have still managed to acheive these savings so it is easily doable, even with busy lives.;)
Thanks to all on the board for the suggestions xxx:money:

Great post, I have only just started browsing these particular forums. I'm encouraged by the amount you have saved on food.
We spend way too much on supermarket food, hoping to persuade the other half that we don't need to spend as much as we do!0 -
Well done, from small acorns.....0
