    Very over priced.

They keep going on about their beds being hand made in their adverts. However most of the smaller independent manufacturers whos profucts are just as good, and charge half the price, also make theirs by hand.

I took your advice and went to an independant retailer who gave good service and sensible pricing. So far so good!!!

I suppose lots of people get bedazzled by the big companies marketing ploys. "Which" slated some for constant sales. You never know what the real price is!! (if you buy it on the wrong week you've had it!!) Some also keep you waiting for your bed for ages!!!

"NO" I was a bit suspicious too. I just went to an Independant trader of about 10 years.

I'm in the market for a new matress and was amazed by the comfort of the John Lewis Mattress compared to those in the retail parks.

Do I really want to spend all that money though ?

JL in general are better quality than many of the big brand names sold in the big chain stores. However they do still have some poor design features, for example most of theirs are non turn, and so won't last as long. Also JL are very over priced.
