I thought that to until I saw hers - hideous cow print or zebra print, something like that!

Actually some of them are a bit strange - the fake ink stained ones for example and some of them are far too "old" for me.

I'm still addicted though and that Shepton Mallet store is a dangerous place. Fortunately they don't have Alexa yet or I'd be in real serious trouble!

saying a bag is just a bag, is like saying a car is just a car. they differ in the ways that they are made ie mulberrys are made by hand rather than purely conveyor belt fact and also grade of leather or even type your average leather handbag is just some old cow whereas high end designer tends to be lambskin or calf skin which is NOTHING like an average handbag.and lastly like with cars too they are a staus thing as well.

I stopped buying leather bags because I read somewhere that the very softest expensive leather comes from unborn calves. I don't know if it's true.

If you are taking a trip there you might also want to take in Street Clarks factory village about 12 miles down the road too.

If Somerset is too far, there is also a Mulberry outlet in Bicester, near Oxford, but its not quite as cheap (if you can call Mulberry cheap:rotfl:)

Thanks for the addresses, Amanita and MrsE, now I've got some destinations to suggest for a week-end away.

Nice bag MrsE, I couldn't wear that without thinking I was a fake proffessor or something though.

I'm with Pasturesnew :o I'm indifferent to bags and shoes, I love dresses :D My last handbag cost a fiver, and I bought it because I could fit my netbook, charger and make up bag in it (to save room in my pull along case) :rotfl:
