I haven't been doing anything very exciting BUT the best news ever I am going to be a grandma again in June. Its very early days yet so only close family know so keep it to yourselves lol.

I will be doing the challenge again next year as I have really enjoyed it and loved the chat on here. I just hope everyone comes back as it has gone really quiet.

I did think about an OU course, but in what???? I am at a bit of a loose end at the moment. I think I will take some time to think about that and not rush in!

Mambury, I'm glad your son is feeling better. I'm not...just tried to eat some biscuits but feeling very sick and cold and hot and clammy. OH is gone though, so I need to look after Puppy, so I can't go to bed yet.

hi all well ive just sussed that i dont have a free weekend until 19/11 ahhhhhhhhhhhhrg before i know it it will be christmas ahhhhhhhhhhhhrg again .where did the year go ahhhhhhhhhhhhhrg again .i'm going to have one last push and whatever i make buy selling the junk i have bought to sell over this year will be the starting fund for my 2011 challenge ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrg again sorry but i kept in a lot of screams over the last month that really need to be gone .
anyone any ideas for my husbands 40th the weekend of the 5th nov ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrg we were going to have a house warming but he doesnt want that do you think he has taken cold feet about turning 40 seem to rememer he was the same aout 30 mhahahahaw

Evening all, sorry I haven't read the whole thread or posted since the first page but have been popping in now and again.

Just thought I'd pop on to say I remain motivated, I'm crushing my cans (I haven't cashed any in yet - going to wait till I have a car full). I discovered that the price for aluminium cans is £675 per tonne and the price for foil is £150 per tonne so I decided to put my foil into the cans before crushing them - is that wrong? I only use clean foil - not that caked in grease from the Sunday joint.

I noticed Mambury that you are planning on buying a wormery. I made mine myself as they are very expensive to buy. There are "How To...." guides online.

I bought brown storage boxes from B&Q for £1.49 each (although that was a few years ago).

Unfortunately my worms died (I think), well I never found any wriggling about my house so I'm pretty sure they didn't escape but I didn't seem to see any in the bedding - not that I delved in too deep - maybe they were all hiding at the bottom and I chucked them all on the compost heap, who knows? I think I didn't keep them moist enough.

Anyway, I must get that up and running again.

OOPs - just bought a chicken coop I think I will tell OH it was a major bargain!!!

Its very cute though!!! My friend breeds chickens, so £2 a head each rather than £15!! Lots of yummy eggs....

Ahhh, I love chickens. We used to have them...some silkies and some other type that I can't remember, lol.
